Google Business Profile Setup

Start On The Right Foot.

Set Up with Quarc

A new listing deserves a clean, compliant foundation.

New businesses, unclaimed listings, half-built duplicates and moves or rebrands all share one problem: the profile Google shows does not yet match the business. Setup is a one-time project for $800. We claim or create the listing, get the type right, prepare it for verification, and fill every field with accurate detail. Once it is live and clean, keeping it sharp is the work of ongoing profile optimization.

Built Right From Day One

  • Storefront Or Service Area, Chosen Correctly

The first decision shapes everything after it. A business that serves customers at its premises shows an address. A business that travels to customers hides it and lists service areas instead. Getting this wrong is a common cause of suspension, so we settle it before the listing is submitted, not after.

  • Photos, Hours And First Posts

An empty listing looks closed. We add real photos of your work, team and premises, set regular and holiday hours, publish opening posts and seed common questions, so the first customers to find you see a business that is ready.

  • A Review Link Ready To Share

A new profile starts with no reviews. We create your short review link, show your team where to send it, and set up a simple ask that fits your day. No incentives and no shortcuts, so early reviews never become a liability later.

  • Categories, Services And Attributes

We pick one primary category that names what you actually are, then add secondary categories only where they are true. Services, products and attributes are entered in full, so the new profile describes your work in detail from its first day.

Why Setup Matters

Mistakes made at setup tend to stay hidden until they cause trouble. A keyword in the name, a home address on a mobile business, or a duplicate left behind after a move can each lead to a suspension, and recovery is slower than prevention. If a listing is already suspended, see profile reinstatement; for what ongoing work costs, see our pricing.

  • Eligibility

  • Compliance

  • Trust

  • Correct categories and business type decide which searches a new listing can appear in. Setup gets both right before anything else.

  • Real names, real addresses and honest reviews keep the listing on the right side of Google's rules from the start.

  • A full profile with photos, hours and a clear description reassures the first customers who find you before they call.

Claiming or creating the listing, storefront or service-area setup, and verification prep. Then categories, services, products, attributes, hours, description, photos, first posts and Q&A, plus your review link, all completed for the searches you want to appear in. It is a one-time project for $800.

Google controls verification, including which method it asks for and how long it takes, so no one can promise a date. Some businesses are asked for extra proof, such as a video of the premises or business documents. We prepare the details and evidence in advance so your listing is ready for whichever method Google chooses.

Usually, yes. We find out who holds access to each listing, including old agencies or former staff, recover ownership where we can, and ask Google to merge or remove the extras so one accurate profile remains. Half-finished listings get completed rather than replaced. If a listing is already suspended, that is a separate reinstatement project.

Not if customers never visit you. A business that travels to clients should hide the address and list the areas it serves instead. Showing a home address for a mobile business breaks Google’s guidelines and can lead to suspension, so we set this correctly at the start.

You receive full ownership of a clean, complete profile, and you can manage it yourself from there. If you want ongoing care, profile management is included in our Local SEO plans, starting with Local Basic at $950 a month with no contract. See local SEO for how those plans work.

Usually not. A move or name change is often handled by updating the existing profile, which keeps its reviews and history. A new listing is only right in some cases, such as a separate new location, and we confirm which applies before changing anything.

No one can promise rankings, because Google decides them. Setup makes your listing eligible for the right searches and removes common errors that hold profiles back. Where you place then depends on factors like distance, reviews and the strength of nearby competitors.

No. Both break Google’s policies and can put a brand new listing at risk. We set up your review link and a simple routine for asking real customers, and the reviews themselves come from them.

DIFFERENCE

Every setup follows Google's guidelines. The business name is your real name, the address is one you can prove, and reviews are earned. A listing built this way has nothing to unwind when Google looks closely.

  • Verification is decided by Google, so we never promise a date. What we control is the preparation: matching details between your website and your profile, the right business type, and evidence ready if Google asks for it. That gives your listing the cleanest path we can offer.
